Speech Competitions at District 42 Spring Convention 2009 from Saskatoon, CANADA

For this show I go live to the District 42 Spring Convention 2009 held in Saskatoon, SA, CANADA May 1, 2, 3. I interview an Educational Session presenter, most of the International Speech & Evaluation Contestants and special feature, I interview Toastmasters International President Ms. Jana Barnhill.

But my real treat was listening to the speech contestants insights into their speech performance. Delivering speeches, even at speech competitions can still lead one to personal growth and fruition. There is more than 1 way to win.

If you can connect with the audience and leave several of them leaving motivated or moved, you have won. That is what it is really about. Winning that trophy is only icing on the cake ! I really enjoyed interviewing the speech contest contestants.
